HBZ Authenticator

  

To enhance the security of HBZ web services further, we have now released "HBZ Authenticator" on our HBZ Mobile App. HBZweb users can now register for this new feature by following the simple steps as mentioned below. This will enable a secure two-factor authentication for the HBZweb platform. Please note you must have your mobile number registered with the Bank for using this new enhanced security feature. Users can continue to use the Secure Key option to access the service but we encourage all users to migrate to the HBZ Authenticator as we would soon be discontinuing the use of Secure Key.

How to register for HBZ Authenticator?

  • Existing user of HBZ Mobile App

    1. Update your HBZ Mobile App to our latest version from app store (Apple Store or Google Play).
    2. Click on the Menu on top left of your screen.
    3. Then select the "Authenticator" button.
    4. Enter HBZ web user name in the next screen and press "Generate Code".
    5. The application will ask the user to register for the usage of Authenticator. Please follow the steps and enter HBZ web username, password and captcha and click "Login"
    6. Enter the OTP receive d on your registered mobile number to complete the registration.
    7. Now the device is ready to use for generating HBZ Authenticator code.

  • New user of HBZ Mobile App

    1. Download the latest HBZ application from app store (Apple Store or Google Play).
    2. Enter HBZ web user name, password and captcha in the next screen and press "Login".
    3. Enter OTP received for registering the device for login.
    4. Once the device is registered, click on the Menu on top left of your screen.
    5. Then select the "Authenticator" button.
    6. Enter HBZ web user name in the next screen and press "e;Generate Code"e;.
    7. The application will ask the user to register for the usage of Authenticator. Please follow the steps and enter HBZ web user name, password and captcha and click "Login".
    8. Enter the OTP receivedon your registered mobile number to complete the registration.
    9. Now the device is ready to use for generating HBZ Authenticator code.

How to use HBZ Authenticator?

  1. Open the HBZ app and press HBZ Authenticator from top left Menu option.
  2. Enter HBZ web username and press generate code.
  3. Go to http://www.habibbank.com/ and press Login.
  4. Enter user name, password and challenge code.
  5. Enter the generated code from HBZ app (on your smartphone) in HBZ Authenticator field.
  6. Click "Login" and you are ready to go!
